What sets my lessons apart

Real Progress, Real Results
My students speak of measurable improvement in confidence, fluency, and performance after just a few lessons. Every lesson is designed to move you forward. Whether it's speaking with more confidence, mastering tricky grammar, or finally understanding those everyday expressions, you’ll see real improvement, and feel it too. Small wins add up quickly when the learning is clear, personal, and consistent.

A Refreshingly Personal Approach
This isn’t an assembly-line type of lesson because no two learners are the same. I take the time to listen closely to your sentences and ask questions that match your level, gently pushing you to expand your vocabulary by using rich, descriptive words you may never have used before.

Supportive Error Correction
Mistakes aren’t setbacks, but stepping stones. I correct gently, always explaining the why behind the error, so you feel encouraged, not discouraged. In group lessons, you benefit not only from your own corrections but also from hearing and learning from the mistakes others make. Every correction becomes a shared opportunity to grow with confidence and clarity.

Language Coaching Lessons
More than just grammar and vocabulary, these lessons are about how you use English in the real world. With a supportive, personalized approach, I’ll help you speak more naturally, express yourself clearly, and build lasting confidence. Whether you're preparing for a job, a trip, or just everyday conversations, coaching gives you the tools, and the mindset, to succeed.
About Your Tutor
Hello, I’m Michel!
I’m a passionate English tutor with students from around the globe, and yes, still smiling after all these years. I gave my very first language lesson way back in February 2004, and somehow, nobody stopped me, so here I am, still teaching and still loving it.
Over the years, I’ve taught just about everything from French and English to interpersonal conversational skills, dynamic sales through language, and even the hidden secrets of persuasive speech (no wand required, just good syntax). Among other teaching tools that I created, I also designed a twelve-lesson coaching series, a job interview prep course, and a mthree-month journey through real-world scenarios to help learners thrive in practical settings.
I’ve also wandered into teaching about the world of art history, sharing insights into art
movements, mediums, and old masters—and yes, a few contemporary geniuses too. In
2016, I took my lessons online, stepped into the virtual classroom, and discovered a world of opportunity. Today, I help people from every corner of the globe speak more clearly, confidently, and expressively, and I still find it just as rewarding as day one.
When you book a lesson with me, you're not just buying time, you’re entering into an
experience that will enrich not just your linguistic skills, but your life too.
